Hello, on the PCQ, there is a question "Are you also interested In Applying For Airforce ROTC Scholarship?". What does that specifically mean? I assume that for the airforce rotc scholarship that is a separate application.

Correct. They want to know, in a not-so-subtle way, how serious are you about becoming an air force officer, as opposed to going to USAFA, the school.

And I also assume that doesn't affect the chances of being able to move along through the application process right?

No, it does not affect your AFA application. Also, you may receive an email from AF ROTC encouraging you to apply to the scholarship. I call it "Plan B." Plan A may be the SAs, especially, USAFA, but then B and C need to be in place. During your interviews, you will desire to have a smart (and accurate) response to questions around this topic as flieger83 noted. Good luck with your application!

Just a little tip moving forward. The answer to all of these questions is yes. You are interested in ROTC, you would be interested in prep-school, ect. "What do you want to do?" You want to be an officer in the USAF (or USNA, ect.). Then you can expand on specific things that interest you. (ie I have a specific interest in space force because..... but I am open to learning more and being willing to serve wherever my country needs me.) Everyone you interview with during this process is going to be gauging your level of interest in serving as, first and foremost, an officer in the military. Whatever your version of that answer is needs to be your go-to answer. good luck!
