Does anyone have a firm grasp of what exactly this change will do to Pilot scores on the AFOQT and TBAS? I just heard about it and am very curious as to what the changes really mean.

I have yet to hear about PCSM 2.0. What have you heard regarding details?

I was always under the impression that what kevster stated in his last post is the system. For Pilot TBAS is what they use, not AFOQT.

I would pm kevster.

Yeah I looked into this yesterday. Barret is right, starting on Feb 13 PCSM 2.0 goes into effect. Basically my class (current juniors) are going to be the last class that categorizes with PCSM 1.0 scores. It sounds like nothing in the AFOQT or PCSM format is changing. I believe that the algorithm for calculating the percentile scores is being adjusted. Based off of the FAQ page looks like everyones scores are going to go down.

I personally dont see this really doing anything. Yes you may score lower but so is everyone else.

Also my apologies for any confusion I may have caused.

PCSM score (40% of the score for Pilot and RPA) = TBAS + Flying Hours + AFOQT Pilot Section.
