Posted this on CC. Wanted to get some more opinions.

Application was finished in September, passed CFA and DoDMERB by end of August, and triple nominated by both Senators and the Representative.

However, the last time I received any DIRECT letter from USNA was my NASS acceptance letter; no LOA, no scholastically qualified letter, etc. DoDMERB's last update was June 22nd.

I e-mailed my BGO last week, and was told application was still "Pending". However, I have no idea what this means. Could it mean that I am scholastically unqualified? Right now, that's what I'm thinking, as I couldn't take any sports during high school.

Any advice would be appreciated. I realize appointments don't come out until March for most people, but I am a nervous wreck. No news for such a long time and with so many chances to see my application seems like they're keeping it alive only to see if I can pull off some amazing award by April.

Simayan, I read somewhere that you could possibly be put on "hold." What I mean by that is USNA is reviewing other candidates before they determine what they want to do with you. I'm pretty much in the same boat as you, but I only have one nom, congrats on your noms!

I've also read that some people get appointments days well before I-day. So unless you get a rejection letter, don't lose hope just yet!!
