What do you do about your plebe's car insurance (and their cars)? Since our plebe will just be home eight days between now and the end of the year and we pay over $1000 to insure him, we are at a loss as to drop him, sell the car, or what?????

If your son opened a USAA membership for his banking account then he can move his car insurance there and put the car on "storage." The car will not be able to be driven at all, but the cost to maintain insurance is minimal. The only restriction is that it must be on "storage status" for a minimum of 30 days. Personally, I would probably sell the car since he won't need it again until midway through his 3rd year.

I'm mystified as to why you would insert a link to an interactive insurance company website in your first ever post. O, wait a minute the title of your post explains it. In the time remaining until your stealth advertisement is deleted, would you mind answering a question. Is it true that Immanuel kant dance?
