Personal Statement Help

Hello all,
I just finished up my personal statement. I'm going to be asking my parents and a couple of my teachers to read it over. But, seeing as all those people know me very well and the admissions board won't, I'm wondering whether any of you could read it over with a critical eye and give me some input. If so, I can PM it to you.

I would also recommend another source for feedback. Many colleges and larger high school have student writing centers. Set up an appointment with a writing center specialist and allow them to provide unbiased input.

Also need some help

Hi there,

As you most likely guessed, I'm a re-applicant and I have a question about the personal statement. Could we use our past application/rejeciton as a "personal experience" or is that frowned upon.

I know that my rejection had a big impact on my life and my viewpoints, but I'm not sure whether or not an essay on that topic would be well received by the people who did the rejecting!
