Personal Statement question

It's been a long time since my sons (twins) graduated in 2013. I remember them working on their personal statements. I'm trying to recall what the question or theme of the personal statement was supposed to be. I think it was something like "What experiences have you had that prepared you for the Naval Academy and how does attending the academy further your goals?" ... something like that. I'm wondering if the question changes - or if it's always the same. If anybody knows, what is the current question that is asked for the personal statement?

1. What led to your initial interest in the naval service and how will the Naval Academy help with your future goals.
2. Describe a personal experience you feel has contributed to your own character development and integrity.

There is also a 500 word limit.
