D scored 196 at AIM. Since then has improved push ups, etc. She has taken CFA and PFE for AFROTC so she knows her PFE score for USCGA would be higher. Does anyone know how much this counts to acceptance?

You can never have to good of a score, so what is the downside of a retake in order to go up. However if I rememebr correctly the CFA may be pass/fail and if that is the case then all you need is a pass.

I was told I could not retake the PFE....of course, that was some time ago.

Although a 196 would score as a "D" in the Cadet PFE grading system, and the Commissioning standard is 200, incoming swabs must only score a 165 by the end of the first semester or be disenrolled.

PS - The mean entrance PFE score for Class of 2013 women was 201. (27 push-ups, 72 sit-ups, and a 12:24 1.5 mile run).

In my personal opinion, I would redo them. A 196 is good and I had friends in 2013 who were accepted with less but I would shoot for over a 200. Just my .02

PFE redo - thanks

Thanks for the advice. She redid and scored 241 so it was worth it. All those pushups and sit-ups in AFJROTC paid off.:thumb:
