PFE - thank you gift?

I was just curious is it is appropriate to send a small thank you gift (coffee card etc.) to the administer of the PFE test. Seems like these teachers are going out of their way and not really getting paid to do this. Of course, given after the test is complete. Also, if the student wants to retake the PFE is it appropriate to ask the same teacher? Or find someone new. Thank you. My sons application is complete with the exception of the PFE which he wants to take more time to work on.... (Assuming his application will not be considered EA as his PFE was not submitted. Hoping this is the case.) Thank you! This is all new to our family.

I took the CFA exam twice with the same instructor, and afterward I sent a gift card and a thank you letter. I think it is appropriate because they go out of their way to administer the test for free.
