My DD received a phone call last Friday, Jan. 31st, from MOC (CA-47) to congratulate and inform her that she received an appointment from USNA. Now we are waiting anxiously for the BFE. Anyone have any idea on the timeline from phone call to envelope receipt? I had a dream/nightmare that MOC made a mistake so now I'm anxious. :) :)

First off, congratulations! I was in the same boat couple weeks ago. I received my BFE about a week and a half after the phone call. This is no nightmare, I assure you, but the start of a 4-year long, life changing journey. Again, congratulations!

Could not agree with you more. Got an email initially from our MOC about my son's appointment and all I could imagine is how these things go wrong, get mis-communicated, etc.. It was another thrill getting that nice formal appointment!

From what I've read here, I think the "standard" is the MOC is given 72 hours notice, then with whatever processing needs to happen on the USNA's end to get the document out. I'd expect in the next few days you should hear something.

Congrats@

Thank you NAPJIM and DLee96, we continue to wait patiently. I will post when the BFE arrives.

Congrats on the appointment! It takes up to 2 weeks for BFE to arrive. Was in the same situation last year , my DD is a very happy Plebe now. Get ready for an awesome experience and very exciting I Day!
