Back in August my son took the physical and eye exam for the Naval Academy and was seemed "qualified" and in shows on his USNA application with the date.
In his USMA online application the overview shows this under his medical status
Status (Date): SCHEDULER FORWARDED TO DODMERB (Oct 2, 2013)
After talking to USMA admissions I was told it was up to me to contact Dodmerb (no one returns calls or emails) and that my son might have to retake his physicals over again ? This doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.
I thought medically qualified through Dodmerb would be used for any academies and ROTC. My older son graduated for USNA and also had a ROTC scholarship and he only took one physical.
Basically USMA is letting it up to us to make contact Dodmerb which is virtually impossible.
