Physics vs. Chemistry

If I plan to reapply to the USCGA during my first year of college is it ok for me to take either physics or chemistry? Or is one better than the other.

You will likely have to take these classes again 4/c year but I think they are about the same merit-wise. If you plan on being an engineering major maybe stick with physics or if you plan on MES take chemistry. Or take both.

You should try to mimic the same schedule that a 4/c cadet would have to show that you can excel in those courses. With the exception of 1-2 courses, most cadets take the same courses during their 4/c year. Since you will only have fall grades at the time you reapply, I would suggest you take whichever class you think you will do best in for fall semester.
