Just took my physical for NROTC scholarship and the examining doctor put down abnormal for ears. I am a female and only have one normal piercing in each ear. Is this something too worry about. I am just being a little jittery, but this is a life long dream. The doctor told me he checks that for anyone who have their ears pierced. Help????

No big deal.. All identifying marks, scars and tattoos will be noted throughout your career every time you have a physical examination. Nothing to panic about.

Edit: As for marking "Abnormal" there, again, its not a big deal. You are not perfect, you have holes placed in your body that were not there when you were born.

Thank you very much, this puts me at ease.

koko - Our Docs won't say abnormal if there are just piercings. Pls cut and paste your posting; provide your full name and last 4 of your SSN; and I will research for you. I'll return the results to your email. Larry.Mullen@dodmerb.tma.osd.mil:thumb:
