Pittsburgh PA Nominations

Has anyone from Pittsburgh received a nomination or appointment? Ive seen a few from other PA districts.
 
I think you need to call your MOC directly to get his list of SA Nominations.

Pittsburgh area's MOC are not very transparent.

It is certainly your right to know when it comes to Nominations they have made.

The TN Senators nor our TN Congressman release the names of the nominaton slates to the public. Their claim is it falls under privacy rules and regulations and they do not ask those seeking nominations to sign a form allowing them to release the information. This is especially true when some of the nominees are under 18.

You have a right to know if you were nominated but it doesn't appear you have a right to know who else was.
 
What school district are you from? I am in Mckeesport but they said Pittsburgh doesnt have many candidates at the academy.
 
I'm a college reapplicant, graduated from Gateway though. I remember there being maybe 10-12 total candidates who wanted a nom for USNA in my district... with four vacancies I believe? Not 100% sure.
