Earlier this month Citadel Alumni who died in the D-Day Invasion, as well Operation Tiger, we’re honored with a plaque at the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, Virginia. The granddaughter of Major Thomas Dry Howie ‘29, “the Major of St. Lo,” for whom the Bell Tower on campus is named, attended.
