Plebe Question

I fully realized and appreciated the reasons for plebes to be restricted from driving themselves or by others except for parents over PPW......but, is it true that they are restricted from driving themselves for the whole plebe year, even over their cherished Christmas Break ??? .....that won't sit well w/ a certain plebe after a long 6 months at Canoe U.

From what I read, they are allowed to drive at home. This is directly from the USNA web site:

"Third-class midshipmen and plebes are not permitted to operate motor vehicles except when authorized leave, such as during Christmas vacation. "

Yeah, as long as you are on leave, you can drive a car.
