Thermo flask she really won’t get a chance to use. They have issued canteens they use. Academic year I am sure nearly every Mid has something like that or a Nalgene. Not sure on Emergen-C. Probably allowed. Colds... it’s Plebe hack. They all get it. It’s a combo of their bodies being worn down and stress, germs from 1200+ locations and going in and out of A/C and sweating all day. Plebe hack sucks, but we all got and get rid of it eventually.

Thanks THParent, I will send Halls Defense!I sent my Plebe 4 bags of Halls Defense (Hall's drops with vitamin C added).
Adding a dose of vitamin C doesn't really do anything, according to studies.
He loved them, and wondered how I knew that he would need them.
I am hoping that they have a placebo effect.
Thanks MidCakePa, I sent a box of Emergen-C and Halls Defense. I asked DD to write me as soon as she can to let me know if she got it. But as you said "each company has its own policy" and withDepends on the company. They’re all a bit different when it comes to this sort of thing. Real meds are verboten, as USNA issues that stuff itself. One can argue that Emergen-C is gray area — more preventative than med itself — but each company hasn’t its own policy.
Doesn’t hurt to try. If it gets confiscated, you’re out a few bucks.
