Hi all,

I had my AROTC PMS interview almost three weeks ago.

How long does it take for it to be posted to my ROTC portal?

I planned on reaching out the ROTC detachment I interviewed at in a couple weeks if it is still not appearing on my portal, but wanted to ask here first.

Thank you.

My daughter did hers on a Wednesday and it was “completed” on her application dashboard by that weekend.

Maybe you need to send a friendly email reminder to the PMS?

Good luck!

My DD did her interview in early July 18. The PMS didn’t complete his portion until early September. I told her not worry about it until maybe 2-3 weeks before the due date for the first board.

The PMS who did your interview may be inundated with getting his new cadets squared away with the program at this point. I’m assuming the first semester started recently.

Give it a couple weeks.

If the PMS portion is still not completed, then send a friendly email.

This post made me think about some general advice. Whenever interviewing, usually the interviewer will offer/ask “do you have any questions?” Or similar. Often at the end when wrapping the interview up. This is a great time to politely inquire “when can I expect to hear back from you”, or similar. If that hasn’t already been addressed in the interview. Then you will have an expectation of when.

Not specific advice to a SA/ROTC but for any interview.

To OP, personally I would shoot an email maybe Thursday if you haven’t heard. That will be almost a month, and you can inquire that you are following up as it’s not yet reflected in your portal. Fair question!!

I did ask multiple questions to the LTC, and that got us in a 20 minute discussion about what I asked.

Thanks for the advice. I will email the detachment in a week or so if it is still not posted.
