I'm posting this in a new thread because I'm not sure many of you saw this earlier post that I made in the Permit to Report Packet thread:
Son emailed his RD and asked if he should submit a second record check now that he has turned 18. This is the response he received:
"Since we have one on file already you don't need to submit another form. If for some reason things change, you will need to email us and let us know of the changes."
So..we are not going to bother with getting another form and taking it to the police station for submission to the academy.

You got it...USNA already has what they need to start a background check on your MID. The only thing you need to update them with are any infractions or violations of the law, your final transcripts and any medical related status change. Otherwise move along to the other info needed in the PTR packet. More importantly focus on spending more quality time with your MID. Good Job!
