Our son took the CFA at SLS this summer and had the green light on the Candidate Portal for the last 2 months.

Now it says this:

Not Received Candidate Fitness Assessment (CFA) not on file

Enter information for your CFA official >>

1. How does one go about verifying what he did at SLS.

2. Why would it have been green for so long, only to lose the info?

This is what happened to me when I applied last year, so I am assuming the same has happened in your case:

He has failed (by West Point's standards) one or more parts of the CFA. Do you know his scores? You should get a letter in the mail soon telling you what part you failed. If he is a strong enough candidate, they will let him retake it.

edit: Maybe not. When I failed, it still had my original CFA administrator's contact information in the system. Your best bet is to contact a liaison :)

Thank you for the response, BUT I now have a 2nd part-

He just showed me the printout from the CFA at SLS with "No Risk" listed.

At this point in time, he would not have had a green check mark if he failed the CFA. 'No Risk" means he passed.
It sounds like a glitch in the system. Call Admissions tomorrow.
