Portal Questions

I'm a junior in high school just beginning my application. I've seen lots of questions and different discussions involving the portal. My question is, as a junior, should there be anything in my portal? Because right now it's relatively blank. Also, about summer seminar, does the application for that pop up in December? Thanks in advance.

The Summer Seminar application opens on December 1 and closes on January 15.

For our DS, he opened his Air Force Application with the preliminary info. He and others got emails saying they would be able to open their portal if their initial application met candidate status. He then received an email telling him his portal was open. It did take a while and he opened his file in July of this year. I also thought the applications were only available to high school seniors or rising seniors with graduation year 2024.

It states on the USAFA website that summer seminar is available to juniors going into senior year. Do you know if this means on December 1 an application will pop up ?

I don't know, I would read through as much as you can and when all else fails, you could email admissions. Sorry I can't help more.
