I think I saw this somewhere, but how long does it take to see your portal updated for USMA once the congressperson updates their slates for nomination?

After I received the letter informing me of my nomination it took around 2 weeks for the nom to actually pop up in my portal. It probably varies.I think I saw this somewhere, but how long does it take to see your portal updated for USMA once the congressperson updates their slates for nomination?

Nomination showed up in Portal today --- so 24 hours is the answer!
Unless you really know when the staff member for the MOC enters the nominations in the system it is hard to predict. Once the MOC‘s staff member logs on and enters the nominations it will appear very quickly (within 24 hours) but sometimes they will call a nominee then upload the nominations, other times the upload before calling, some nominees never get a call only a letter (which may come several days after the portal has updated.) The bottom line is - if the call, believe them and soon it will be represented in your portal. If you first see the nom in your portal, before the call, be glad and it is official! Either way, be glad you have the nomination and are that much closer to attending the academy. Good luck with your goal!
