I received my appointment today!! :) I am super pumped!

does anyone know when the status changes on the portal so I can accept it faster then sending the card back in?

Congratulations! The letter says within 7 days. However I received my appointment on a Saturday and by Tuesday it was on. I also sent my card in right away so they heard both ways I guess.
That was a little over 2 weeks ago when I got my appointment and I got another envelope in the mail today saying Congrats on accepting and now we want dental records :shake:.
 
Your candidate portal should be updated within a week of the offer of appointment. Just keep checking it everyday :smile:

When I found out I got a principal nomination I was so ecstatic! My hands were shaking and I was so shocked. How was it possible that I got that nomination? And at that point I knew that WP was actually going to be a reality for me haha. Beforehand I knew how hard it was to get in and I had my back up plans. I wasn't getting my hopes up or anything. However getting my nomination was so exciting!

Then my appointment finally came in the mail and I thought finally its here haha- not too much excitement. Don't get me wrong, I was happy but not as happy as when I got my nomination. I guess it makes sense since I was expecting the appointment to come. :smile:
 
Ha I got my LOA back in November so I've known for a long while :)

I've never seen a place on the portal where it shows your status.
 
Congrats!!!

It took about a week for my son's portal to change !
 
My portal was updated the day I got my appointment, on a Monday.
 
Congratulations!
Mine took about a week from receiving the letter as well.
