I have no idea what is wrong but this is what my son's portal looks like. If I submit it, it's final. Any ideas as to what is wrong?

You should edit this post asap to remove your sons private information.

Beyond that, not sure what you are asking?

Why are you in your son's portal? He is the applicant. I would delete this entire thread.
Why are you submitting the applicant's material?
You can sit together while he does it but this is not a great 'parent driven' or 'parent completed' process. The kid has to own it.

Also, mama, we can still see your child's full name--at the very top of the picture...I won't write it here because I think you are going to edit it again.

My son asked me a question. I wasn't aware that I shouldn't participate in any answering of questions from my kid. I was directed to come to this forum because of the plethora of information. My fault for not realizing the aggressive and judgemental reactions some would have. He figured it out thanks to himself.

Its ok. Some on this forum have seen a wide range of parental engagement. Some parents go far beyond what they should, and beyond what their child's wishes are, pushing them into a Service Academy. Seeing that enough tends to make some forum members cautious when they see parents pulling up their kids portal. I dont believe they intended their response to be overly aggressive and judgemental, just cautionary.

Good luck to your child!

Go Army!

As always, the challenge of internet exchanges is the flatness - no eye contact, body language, vocal tone, etc., to support full understanding of two-way communications.

I imagine people were concerned, just from the bare bones of the original post, that private personal information was inadvertently being shown, that it wasn’t clear what question was being asked from just the viewing of the screenshots, and the statement seemed to indicate you would be doing the submitting. That’s the way I read it, at first.

Now that you have supplied additional information, that your son asked you for help with this question, you brought it here to SAF after you presumably sat down to take a look at it yourself and took screenshots and that he eventually solved it himself - now it all makes sense.

I hope you find SAF to be a good unofficial resource for you. It’s an active, helpful community.

Thank you for removing the screenshot with your child’s name on it.
