Question, We knew my son would need to obtain a medical waiver to get in. According to the DoDMERB website he has been denied a waiver (we have not received anything from the academy yet, it was just posted on DoDMERB site today). Is there anyway to appeal the denial? He is set for an outpatient procedure to deal with the issue causing the DoDMERB DQ decision and waiver issue. We'd like to see him reconsidered for a waiver AFTER the procedure takes place and a full medical report based on it is completed. We feel like the waiver was denied based on incomplete information, so is there some way to get it reconsidered or appeal it? Thanks.

Another idea is to Contact DODMERB Consultants. It's a firm that you can hire to help you navigate the process.

i concur to call Dodmerb Consultants…they were really great and very helpful. We wound up not needing anything but they had a lot of info and it was great knowing they were there in case we needed them.
