I sent my DS his ballot to vote 3 weeks ago. He still did not receive it. Is the mail room still having problem with sorting the mail.

The post office has gotten a lot better (Mids can now leave to buy stuff instead of ordering online, + all UPS and FedEx deliveries get sorted by volunteer mids once per week instead of having the USPS workers do it). That said there’s always been some delay and 3 weeks would be long but not unheard of. I do believe in most states that as long as the ballot is postmarked by election day it will still be counted, so there’s definitely hope.

Be careful and check for the specific state, though - for example, in my state, the absentee ballot has to be received by election day, not postmarked.
