PPW schedule is posted

where do we park for PPW?
Most likely the Stadium, with buses running set hours. Alternately, any city spots. Ie parking garages.

One hint: city parking at the docks doesn’t charge until 10am (unless this has changed). So when we went to watch morning pep, we parked there early and walked over, grabbing a coffee first. Get there early to clear gate 1 (there was a line and many missed it). We sat on the bleachers, watched our son (that wasn’t there 😳🙄 but that’s another story), and saw the BEST sunrise. All with free, close parking.

SO GLAD Y’ALL ARE GETTING THIS EVENT!! One of our best family events. Ever.

Thanks for the tip @justdoit19 . The USNA public hours indicate sunrise to 7pm. Sunrise on 8/12 & 8/13 is approx 0617- is that when Gate 1 opens to the public access?

If we’re me? I would go earlier. I would go 45
mins before it starts. If they don’t let people in, you will be towards the front of the line when they do.

We went 45 early and they were letting people in. And no line for us but lots of people moving through. Plus you want to get a good spot on the bleachers. You don’t need to take much other than coffee, binoculars and you ID.

This event isn’t on the schedule. This event is one where people just went. It could happen this year that they are sticklers, don’t let people in until sunrise, and don’t allow them in the bleachers. Idk. But you can still watch standing along the fences. And see them as they fall out for their run. And back.

We were very welcomed. Included in chants, etc. It was electric. Think ‘sporting event’ where the fans are bumping along to the music/excitement. Plus, seeing the main person leading the Mids was awesome. It was A highlight for me personally. First time your mid Will see you! We told him what (matching) shirts we would be wearing so he could identify us easily. EYE CONTACT!!!!!!
