Alright so I apologize for asking g a silly question but since I have already been accepted into USAFASS does that mean that I am guaranteed a competitive candidate on my application once the actual applications open? I mean, on my portal it says that my status is applicant and that my application is under review until I'm deemed a candidate. What does that mean? Is it like USNA where my application to ss is my pre lim app and all I have to do is wait till applications open to start my paperwork? Thanks in advance! I couldn't seem to find a thread about this and I'm completely clueless.

If you checked the little box on the SS application that said something like "opt to transfer SS application to pre-candidate questionnaire" then you do not need to fill out the PCQ again.

Son was accepted to summer seminar. He opted to have his summer seminar application serve as his precandidate application. He got an email last week in his portal updating his status, what his next steps should be and that he will have further instructions coming in July.

Is there a way to go back and have it count? Or do I need to go back and full it out again?

So I looked on my application and it has a questionaire on it asking things like am I currently on active duty and stuff. So is it now just a waiting game or..?

How long does it take for the preliminary app to be reviewed? I submitted mine the first day it opened and it's still says applicant under consideration. My friend submitted theirs on the first day the preliminary app opened too and they are already considered competitive.
