My son is a prep student and on the Falcon Foundation scholarship. He received a letter stating one of his sections on the SAT or ACT is not competitive still. He is retaking both this month and next. What are his options if he has borderline scores and has good grades going into the spring semester. He already had his nomination interview and we are just waiting to hear something. Any advice would help.

May I ask what his non competitive scores are?
My DS had just one score he wanted to bring up, it was at the last section so he was always feeling burned out by the time that section came up. So he went in with the intent of only concentrating on that section and it worked. He brought it up 2-3 points.
