Acceptance to NMMI

Our DS received his acceptance to NMMI last year in mid May. Hang in there, there still may be an opportunity!
 
Knoxcap, our DS received an offer to NMMI for USMMA yesterday 5/8 by FedEx. We were totally shocked as we were told it was a slim chance in our area. Don't give up hope!

That is awesome news! So glad to hear a positive so late in the game and makes the wait so much sweeter :). Admissions was called on 5/7 and DS was not selected. Actually confused on if this was meant for NMMI too. We knew he wasn't selected for USMMA about a month ago. Admissions said all letters would be sent out next week. DS was let down of course. So on to Plan B :).

DS received his TWE today. It stated that he wasn't selected for USMMA, which we knew, but didn't say anything about denial of NMMI. Is this just a standard form letter?

If he was accepted to NMMI he would have received a letter offering a slot and then a form asking if he wanted to go which had to be faxed and mailed back accepting a slot. This would be followed by a packet of information and forms to fill out.

Was confused since DS was told he was a contender for NMMI and then wouldn't be told if he was accepted or not. Kind of confusing to me :). He was deflated as you could probably understand but moving on quickly to plan b, NROTC.

I received a Falcon Scholarship yesterday, things are still going out!!!
