USNA accepted my Presidential Nomination in October for my Appointment.
I was surprised because I thought the academies would shuffle the Presidential Nomination slots closer to May 1st because there is only 100 of them.
When I compare the USNA Appointment thread vs the USAFA Appointment thread, USNA have accepted nine or ten Presidential Nominations while USAFA has accepted three(I know this doest fully represent all of the population of USAFA and USNA appointees; also 66 appointments have been reported for USNA compared to 44 reported appointments for USAFA).
In the past, have the academies given out their appointments via Presidential closer to May 1st?
