Hi everyone,

I'm currently applying for the Presidential Nomination for USNA, on their website it didn't specify whether to send in all my required forms by mail or electronically. Would anyone have any thoughts on this?

At the bottom of the Presidential noms section on USNA.edu, the directions seem clear. Is this what you are looking at?

A complete and detailed mailing address to a physical location is given in both places. No email address is given. No directions to upload it in your portal. Additionally, these are copies of important documents necessary to validate your eligibility for this nom, so it is likely they want paper copies for clarity and authenticity.

Just take your time and slow down, pay attention to detail, as primary sources such as USNA.edu usually have the answers. Applying to a service academy tests your critical thinking, attention to detail, thoroughness, executive coordination, task management, ability to do research legwork on your own at primary sources, perseverance and many other traits desirable in a junior officer.

As the SEALs say, “Slow is smooth. Smooth is fast.”
