Principle Nom

Clearly, I can't say whether the academies track that or not, but regardless, I would wonder why they would spend the time or energy to do so. As Hoops points out, it's either principal, ranked or unranked, and that's all in the purvey of the MOC's that the academies have no input or control over. With that said, what would be the point even if they had that evidence? It's not as though they would be in a position to change it.

Right. But my point was, why even try to change it if there is no data to suggest that it results in bad outcomes? That's what folks seemed to be suggesting.

This is slightly off topic, but I have a question. My MOC uses the competitive nomination process. I live in a relatively uncompetitive district and someone else has already been awarded an appointment but is undecided. Even if they don't go, am I pretty much screwed? Thanks!

Patience.......you have no idea what Nomination source the other guy/gal's Offer of Appointment is issued under. Could be your MOC's Competitive Nom, could be something else. Bottom line, you are in the running until you get the TWE.
