I have long fought the temptation to post here, but the waiting game has gotten to me. I was just wondering if any prior enlisted candidate’s have received a decision yet. If so, how were you informed? Through mail, email, chain of command?

Prior enlisted or currently enlisted?

Prior enlisted or currently enlisted
The term "prior enlisted" is often used at USNA to identify those that entered the NAPS or USNA from the from the fleet; in other words, currently enlisted when applying. Although it may be theoretically possible (but difficult because of age/timing) , I have never heard of anyone who serves his/her full initial enlistment, then applies as a civilian.

That’s what I thought. For what it’s worth, my son is enlisted in nuke power school waiting. Supposedly none of the 22 who applied from that command have heard anything yet.

I’m enlisted and learned of my appointment via the portal and an email they sent me. Hope this helps!
Congrats! If you don’t mind me asking, how long ago did you receive this information and have you completed your physical yet?
