Good Morning All,

I am a second class and submitted my application early February. I have had little to no contact with my BGO since then. Can anyone tell me where my notification of appointment/denial will come from? Or what the process for orders looks like?

From OPNAVINST 1420.1B:
(2) Transfer directives will be issued by NAVPERSCOM. COs shall ensure that no person ordered to USNA or NAPS is transferred without the required obligated service. Transfer directives are normally issued in June, ordering candidates to report to the USNA the last week in June or to NAPS, in July.

As far as notification, it is possible that they will inform your CO first in order for him/her to let you know. I would give it through April before reaching out on when you might hear. I believe Fleet candidates are typically notified towards the later part of the cycle.
