I've had a few people send me private messages with DoDMERB questions. I just want everyone to know that I do not mind getting private messages with DoDMERB questions. So if you feel that you, your son/daughter has an issue that you do not want placed into a public forum please feel free to send me a private message!

Also, the question hasn't come up, but I'm sure it will at some point, I still keep in contact with DoDMERB but I will not and can not check on anyones status, or push anyones file ahead of another. Also, any information that I receive, either in an open forum or private message, will not be relayed to DoDMERB.

I know I've helped some of you, and I appreciate the thanks that I get. I do this because I know how difficult the process is, the different rumors that are circulating around, and also because I just enjoy working with people! Just remember that the only stupid question is the one that is not asked!
 
I just found this website but you've already given me invaluable help. I'd like to thank you for helping me with my color vision test confusion and the problems I'm liable to have in the future!
 
Thanks for all of the answers that I've gotten from you, even if I didn't ask the question myself. BTW, our son just had his remedials cleared and his status changed to 'Commission Qualified' on the DoDMERB website.....so all of the answers you gave paid off! Thanks again!

I know I've said thanks to you before RetNavyHM. Gotta do it one more time. I just find you so kind and so amazing to take your time to answer the many questions out there. You're sure taking the demon out DODMERB for everyone.

Thank you all for the kind words. There is no more rewarding feeling than knowing that you have helped someone out.

While at DoDMERB I would do what I could for the candidates and the parents to try and take the "evil" part out of the process. Unfortunately it was rare to hear back from a parent or an applicant, but I did have a couple of opportunities to go to I-day at Annapolis and run into some of my "problem children" and their parents. It was good to see that with some of my help they made it. I'm hoping that here I'll still be able to help and to "see" applicants make it through the process.

So keep the questions coming, I'm enjoying myself knowing that I can still help!
