This questions may not be most appropriate for this particular forum, but does anyone know the steps one should take in order to pursue a career as a PMC?

You basically need to do an AD stent in a combat arms role, and then you're good to go. Talking to quite a few of these guys thats all I can tell there is to it.

This is highly dependent on the position. There is a vast difference in requirements for a security guard, driver, or helicopter pilot.

The first step is generally to apply for and get through Special Operations training for all but a few specialists (like pilots). Step 2 is getting experience in the Special Ops community.

Come on Humey, those commercials weren't that long ago.
I thought it was part of typical parlance, like Seinfeld's "yadda yadda".

My favorite is the surgeon.
