Hi my new forum friends! My son recently received his acceptance offer from the Air Force Academy, Class of 2013. We couldn't be more proud, and excited for him. I think I'm more nervous than he is, so I'm always looking for information on ways to help prepare him for this adventure, expecially his Doolie year. I found this forum and believe it will be a great source of support.

Welcome indeed. My son has also accepted an appt to the Air Force Academy. I'm glad to see other folks from Va. on this site (we're from Richmond area). Please pass along our congrats to your son and hopefully we'll get a chance to meet either back in Va. or out at 'the Springs'.
