Does the Naval Academy and West Point use the PRT Calculator to figure out their scores. The Navy calculator only shows curl ups, push ups, and 1.5 mile, so how are the other events calculated in? Also, does West Point use the same PRT Calc.? I will putting in my son's scores and just curious if this system is still used. (I have read on the website where each event is work 100 points). Thanks.

I see.....PRT and CFA are different!

I see, the two test are different; just exploring.

The only prt calculator you can use for usna's prt is a usna calculator, created by midn and posted on an intranet website, which is accessible only at the academy. Pushups situps 1.5mi.

PRT is used while at USNA. There is a way to calculate your grades based on your scores for each event -- mids will have ready access to it. However, if you fail any element of the test, you fail the entire test, no matter how well you do on the other elements.

CFA is used for entrance to USNA. There is no "calculator" for the CFA that has been shared with BGOs or candidates. USNA did release CFA "averages" a couple of years ago, and those are posted in one of my stickies above. However, note that the info is aging and hasn't been updated. Each SA evaluates the CFA differently. USNA generally uses a pass/fail system. However, if you do poorly on an event about which USNA cares (pushups, crunches, mile), you may still have issues even if you did well overall.
