PS Hair Cut

Wow...after reading this thread, I am thankful that as a male I never even had to think twice about hair. The issue came up once -- as a NAPster,I checked into I day with a regulation haircut, and we were given the option of going to the barber. One of my detailers made the "suggestion" that I look like my classmates ...and it was gone !

For OP, and all other appointees, Plebe Summer is not a fashion contest. Nobody (male or female) looks good in white works, shaved or short hair, and issue glasses ! Nobody is going to remember what you looked like during Plebe Summer. Speed and comfort should be the goal--there are alot of other things to worry about during Plebe Summer.

Thanks for this! I know it's not a fashion statement, I don't even care what my hair looks like outside of brushing it most days anyway! What I really wanted to know is which ones are easiest to care for and deal with in the limited time, and I think I've gotten some good advice! As always, this forum is a treasure trove of info, thanks again! :)
 
I will say again. They clean up pretty good and sparkling in their Dress Whites in DTA without their BCG Glasses. Go to the USNA information at the PTR and start there for report hair cut. First thing Company member said to my DD at PPW was "you clean up pretty good". Never mentioned again.
