Q About USNA 2024 Application

Hi all,
I received my ECandidate Packet Letter yesterday and have since looked through the application.
One of the required documents is titled “Candidate Academic Information,” and I when I click on the button that says “submit online” it just brings me to a page where I need to input the name and email of a “High School Official.”
So my question is, what exactly would the high school official be filling out on my behalf? And would there be a specific person I should ask for this, as in does it have to be a counselor or can it be a teacher?

I got my high school guidance counselor to fill it out for me. It should just be the school official that helps you with the college application process and has access to your academic history.

Typically your High School Guidance Counselor.

Your high school guidance counselor should get this request. They will be given info where to send your transcript and a school profile, and will be asked to provide info on how your school ranks students. (My DS is a homeschooled student, so I am technically his guidance counselor.)
