Qualified, but....

This summer, my DS visited both USCGA and USMMA as an athlete.
In September, he started both applications.
In late September, he decided that he only wanted to apply to USCGA.
In early October, he received an email indicating he could start DoDMERB. He went to the appointments soon after.
Today, we checked his application status in the Registry and it indicates he is Qualified, for Merchant Marine Academy.
Should I contact anyone?
Any suggestions on a course of action?

His application to USCGA will be submitted on Friday.

USCGA should routinely check DoDMERB to see if your DS has a file already open as it is very common for candidates to apply to multiple academies. They should see that he has passed DoDMERB.
