Just curious, I was told by my congressional office that marching band counted as an athletic activity and I do Brazilian jiu-jitsu 3 days for 6-9 hours a week. I competed in NAGA U.S. Nationals in February. I also joined the track team this year, and although I haven't been able to compete at meets due to a surgery I had, I will be attending practice again soon. Is this enough to qualify for the athletic part of the academies' admission?

My main athletic activity is Taekwondo, so I can pledge that admissions does appreciate the athletic requirements of martial arts. I had my master instructor/ fighting coach write one of my letters of rec. for nominations.

Thank you. Yeah I already asked my instructor to write me a letter of recommendation.
