Qualified Letter/LOA

In September, I was given a Letter of Assurance stating that once I completed a few final things in my file, received a nomination, and received medical qualification, I would get an appointment to the class of 2025. As of October 19th, I am medically and physically qualified, and my file is complete. I’m now awaiting a nomination. However, I am yet to receive notice of a qualification letter and I am slightly concerned since my LOA requests all conditions be met by November 2nd, even though I finished on October 19th. Should I be worried, or trust that West Point will uphold my LOA if no qualified letter is in my portal by November 2nd? I have proof that they received completion of my file on October 19th as well. Or does the qualification letter only come with a nomination? Any advice and help is appreciated.

Absolutely not. I received an LOA in mid-July and I am the least worried about it. If you're hung up dry on it, you can email your field force rep. to confirm. They will be happy to help you. As long as all the requirements have check marks next to them in your portal. Just wait and ace the interview.

Ok, thanks. I had my interview last month and my FFR said that the file was complete on the 19th, but I’m just worried to not receive the letter since the LOA date is approaching. I think since all I have left is receiving a nomination, and if my FFR said everything is complete and good, that West Point will come through with my appointment if a nomination is received.

Exactly. Best of luck on nom!

Your FFR can tell you where your application stands. DD has an LOA, and her FFR has confirmed that she is 3Q. Like you, she has not received any official notification. Good luck with noms!
