Hey everyone. I have finally qualified my DODMERB medical! The process was long and was tedious at times, but I’m finally glad to have been qualified to serve my country. But now, what do I do from here? Your feedback is appreciated.

Congratulations, but more information is needed to help answer your question. Have you received a ROTC Scholarship or are you pursuing an appointment to one of the Service Academies?

EDIT - just read your previous posts and it looks like you have received an AFROTC scholarship. Again congrats! I would make sure that the cadre/staff are aware of your status change. Enjoy the rest of your summer and get yourself ready for ROTC.

It’s for the Air Force scholarship to an in state college. Sorry that I didn’t clarify that.

Thank you. I’m very excited for it.
 
DODMERB is required to activate the scholarship, so that is one hurdle! I think you have to pass the PT upon reporting? Not sure as going through with my DD as well. Look on the WINGS portal and see what other steps you need to do. I know for my DD, she doesn't need the sports physical form filled in because of a qualifying DODMERB exam.
