On my DodMerb page my status reads:

Agency: US Naval Academy
Current Medical Status: Qualified (as of 07-NOV-08 )

Agency: US Navy ROTC
Current Medical Status: Qualified Unrestricted Line (as of 10-NOV-08 )

My question is- what is the difference between my medical status for NROTC and the USNA. Does qualified for the USNA mean that I am not unrestricted?

Its just the wording that the 2 use. There is no difference as you will have another physical examination prior to graduation.

Just concentrate on the "Qualified" for now.

Both programs require their applicants to be qualified for unrestricted line by DoDMERB determination. It is the semantics between the two programs, but as RetNavyHM says, you are medically qualified to enter the USNA with an offer of appointment from the USNA and you are medically eligible to receive and NROTC scholarship.
