If you just bought running shoes be sure to have your son or daughter wear them enough to break them in before Iday. I don't think they need to be white either. It seems like every color of the rainbow is represented. They will be issued new white/gray running shoes on IDay so if they need a uniform type sneaker for wearing with their working whites, they'll have a pair. The broken-in shoes are for PT. You really don't need anything else. My son took 2 pairs of running shoes, a few pairs of compression shorts and his razor, wallet, phone and charger. Phone was locked up and returned to him on designated call-home Sundays.
