Question about LOA and nominations

First off, hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving break and Black Friday Cant believe November is already almost over :/

I had a question regarding nominations and LOAs. If you get an LOA, does it give you an edge in receiving a nomination? And if it does, how do your senators and representatives know about the LOA? Are you supposed to personally contact your congressmen/women? Or do the offices of the congressmen/women find out themselves?

LOAs and Nominations

I am no expert, but when my son received his LOA he contacted his MOC and they said they receive notification directly from the SA... he did not take any chances and sent them copies via fax.

He now has both the LOA and the Nomination, just waiting for the medical waiver...
