I have a question about the tuition fee assistance offered to enlisted personal of the MAANG. I am an ROTC Cadet with the 4 year “minuteman” scholarship, and enlisted as an 09R in the guard. I did not go to basic or AIT, but attend drill monthly as this is part of my SMP scholarship contract. I was wondering if the National Guard would cover classes to be taken over the summer, possibly a few credits (part time student status), even though I am an SMP cadet and scholarshiped with ROTC. The reason I am trying to do this is I am trying to take classes my school does not offer. If this is possible, will I be required to commission in the state that I received state education funding for? Than you all.
