Hello  my name is Kevin and i am currently a college sophomore who is in pursuit of becoming an Active Duty commissioned army officer. My problem is that i have relatively low GPA (mid-upper 2's) in the current University that i am enrolled in with degree in Mechanical Engineering. I know there is no excuse about my low GPA and there is only myself to blame, but i'm set in my mind to transferring to another university which will not only transfer the credits have in prior institution, but start fresh on my GPA. And while in that institution, i hope to participate in their ROTC program. Also i am an active National Guard member in my respective state. So long story short, here is my question:
How is the GPA calculated for OML Accession for transfer students? I am seeing different answers from forum to college ROTC adviser that only the GPA's from the new institution counts or only the first 6 semesters count.
Thank you so much for spending your time to read my question and hopefully i will find an answer from this forum!
