Question about the Citadel.

I recently visited the Citadel and was very impressed. However one thing bothered me. I know VMI has the Rat Challenge set aside to build greater bonds between the Rats than the normal activities of the Rat year can.

Does Citadel have anything like that? Or are the bonds based solely on everyday interactions?

Just trying to seperate the pros and the cons of each school.
